...are on the move and away from your normal work station. In addition to these normal features, the Blackberry also offers you many functions that Microsoft Outlook would offer to you - for instance an address book and calendar which show you exactly which appointments you might need rush off to next.
The Blackberry7230 is just a little bigger than a deck of cards in size, almost square and round along the edges. It is designed to perfectly fit into the palm of your hand. Although it only weighs about 150g (or 4.9 ounces), the Blackberry feels quite heavy and is in fact very sturdy, however, when you are not using it, you should always ensure that you put it in its hard plastic case in order to protect the LCD screen. One of my colleagues dropped his Blackberry on the floor - and it cracked the LCD screen. This is an accident...

Advantages Access/view e-mail with Word, Excel, Adobe PDF, WordPerfect (most non-executable) attachments Disadvantages Can view/forward but not edit attachments; no bluetooth technology

This is a wireless handheld multifunction (phone, e-mail, SMS, browser, organiser) unit weighing under 150g, which includes an integrated speaker and microphone, thumb-operated track-wheel, easy-to-read screen, QWERTY keyboard and quick access to all functions, including web applications, including a "back" button for easier browsing just below the track...

Advantages emails on the move! No time wasting Disadvantages older model so slow internet hook up
...We bought two 7230s for business use 18 months ago and we have been very impressed with their business capabilities.
I used to come home each evening and spend a couple of hours checking my email in boxes ... now I have two extra hours available! I do all my emailing in slow periods at work and elsewhere.
Business has picked up becuse we can communicate with customers much faster than previously.
I dont use it very much as a telephone due to the nature of our business but it does give good sound quality etc.
The address book is comprehensive and intrgrates well into the email, phone and sms features.
Internet acess is available but can be rather slow so tend not to use it except for emergencies. We were stuck in a poor quality hotel in Rome last summer and were able to use the internet facility to sort ourselves out with better...
