In overall it's a good and exciting adventurous action movie. The background is about a young man who lived in the remote mountain area 12000 years ago. This adds to the mysterious elements of this movie, because we do not know how the Earth looks like at this time. However, people with some scientific sense might be curious why sabre-tooth are still alive at 12000 years ago. thrilling and exciting stroy, and finally it leads to an unexpected ending. ...
...and it turns out to be big vessels. it's so touching to see all the slaves and tamed mammoths are free. Altough there are some illogical parts, but it serves the purpose of entertainment right. I have to admit, I do not write many reviews, but for this one, for some unknown reason, I feel compelled. I also have to admit that I hired this movie by accident. I had intended to rent 10,000 BC from Netflix and evidently hastily clicked on the wrong movie. Who knew there was another 10,000 movie!? I looked on here and saw the abysmal rating, without any reviews. I checked on Netflix and the situation was not significantly better. But I watched ...
...know, it wasn't so bad. With an advanced degree in Linguistics, I found the made-up language to be creative, though I was greatly relieved that it was almost entirely discontinued after about 20 minutes. It could have been ended sooner, but it did eventually end and the lion's share of the movie is in English. This movie didn't have a $500.00 budget.
