I bought one of these for my wife about six months ago and it really comes in handy. She can make nice creamy slaw for me and use it to chop up carrots and all for her stew. The sound is pretty loud though. Every time she uses it she makes our daughter jump. It is very easy to use and pretty easy to clean. But you have to be carefully washing it because the blade is really sharp. It doesn't take long to chop things up and it has different kind of features on it. You really don't make too bad of a mess either. My wife likes it because it is fast chopping up things in a little amount of time. We have not had any problems with it over heating or anything.
