THis is one of those things that I did not think that I would be reviewing until i found myself in need of one when on holiday. Now usually you can find an iron pretty easily when you are at a relatives house. For some unknown reason my aunt Lois did not have one.
Anyhow sunday came and my suit was wrinkled to unbelievable. The boss ( aka wife) believes that it is absolute sacrilidge to not wear a suit. So anyhow my wife went and got this. I think at sears or kmart. it was not a super iron, but It did the trick with my suit. I also wear it to work, so I do like something gentle on it. I have two rules about suits. I never buy one not on sale and I do not get rid of them till they wear out or are grossly out of style.
It was very well contructed for the price. It was easy to use with very simple temperature controls. I thought that it heated up fairly quickly. It allowed me to select the fabric for my suit and in additon to the iron it shot a steam mist. I used this to get the wrinkles out and then started on ironing. Now I am glad the crease in the pants was still there because I still have not figured out how to do one of them. This is not my main Iron. It is now a travel iron though that goes in one of our bags.
