I have to say the Black & Decker Home Slice Right Electric Knife is a really nice knife. My boss at the retirement home that I work at as a cook bought us a new electric knife. The other cook and I have been using this knife for about 4 months now, and it gets used everyday.
We both agree that this knife works great. It slices meat like butter, as well as home baked breads. We make big meals everyday, such as roasts, chicken, turkey, ham and pork, ... ...is not bulky, and the Black & Decker is not bulky. It is fairly lightweight.
The design is nice and sleek, and easy on the wrist when carving meat. Features:

...two years ago. I like Black & Decker products. I believe you get what you pay for and this knife is well worth the price.
I can honestly say that I use this electric knife only a few times a year. For one thing, it's in a cabinet that I don't think about. I will say that it's PERFECT for carving turkeys. Nobody ever wants that job. And I can recall all the different carving jobs that were done on Thanksgivings past. YIKES!
This knife cuts roasts, ... ...I'll be pulling the old Black & Decker knife out again. I have also used it to slice ham for sandwiches. This does a great job of slicing uniform thickness of the slices. The blade pops right off which makes it easy to clean. It has a safety lock so that the knife will not operate unless the blade is in place. The blade is stainless steel which also makes cleaning a breeze.
