Use your terminals, PCs, and other async data terminal equipment (DTE) over sync analog or digital lines with these compact converters. Plug them directly into your async DTE host on the local async side and the remote sync side. Run RS-232 cable between the interface-powered converters and your sync modem or CSU/DSU on each end, and you're ready to go! The sync data rates adjust automatically to match the async DTE output rate, so no data rate strapping is necessary.
