With the SpeedLAN 10, you get the best of both worlds: wire speed and wireless distance. You can use these wireless bridges to send information between two or more connected Ethernet LANs at 10 mbps, as far as 10 miles (16 km) - or as far as 25 miles (40 km) with the integrated-amplifier version. (Please note that the SpeedLAN 10 requires clear line of sight between the antennas at the two sites; make sure this is possible before you order.) Simply install the bridge at two or more separate locations whose LANs you want to link, and all users on each LAN will be able to send and receive data to and from users on the other LAN. Since the bridge operates at 10 mbps, you'll spend less time waiting for the data you need and more time taking care of business. This model is configured with the 6-dBi Omnidirectional 360° Antenna and the APC ProtectNet data-line surge protector for the 10/100BASE-T port.
