Serial Host Adapters with ISP have a built-in Interrupt Status Port (ISP) and enhanced software drivers, so multiple ports and multiple cards can share a single IRQ under Windows 95, 98, and Windows NT. The 16854 UART model (IC182C) has 128-byte FIFO buffers and can also sustain rates of 460.8 kbps. This card has smaller boards and includes divisor jumpers for rate selection.
