Ideal for campus network applications, a pair of SDSL Routers lets you connect your small business or home computers to the network via a single pair of ordinary telephone wire. Thanks to Digital Subscriber Link (DSL) technology, the Routers operate, in both directions, at speeds up to 784 Kbps, over distances of up to 17, 000 ft. (5230 m). Essentially, the SDSL Routers combine a proprietary microprocessor chip with a DSL modem in a tiny package that takes up less space than an average modem. And the Routers require no specially installed cabling. The integral DSL modem provides a transparent interface between two networks with a single twisted-pair wire.
