Connect up to 10 LAN users to a remote central LAN or to the Internet with Black Box 500 Series ISDN Router. Once connections are up and running, users can remotely access and transfer files, send print jobs, send and receive email. Optional features include compression, spoofing, voice ports, and NetSAFE. Compression boosts the volume of data sent on the ISDN B channels by as much as 600%. This reduces the time needed to send a given volume of data. The Router uses spoofing to suspend the call and "spoof" the line when inactivity is detected. The Router then automatically re-establishes the ISDN connection when demand for data transfer is identified. Reduce the number of analog phone lines in your office by connecting voice and fax devices to the Router's two voice ports. Finally, the Router provides a NetSAFE Firewall to prevent intruders from entering your network via the Internet. NetSAFE secures all of the stations on your local network while still allowing access to your Web server.
