Advantages: gets out any stain, easy to use, long cord Disadvantages: heavy, loud
I love my Bissell SpotBot. I have a toddler, a baby, a cat, and a dog. And this SpotBot gets it all out: vomit, food, juice, pee, poop, everything comes up. If it's an old stain, or cat pee, it might take 3 cycles to get it all out, but the SpotBot will get it. The hand attachment is great for spills and to clean furniture and inside your car. The cord and the hose all store neatly on the unitll. It is very easy to load the unit with water and cleaner ...

Advantages: Cleans automatically, keeps attachements organized Disadvantages: Uses a lot of solution, expensive
I just purchased this little SpotBot Pet cleaner based on some other reviews that I had read. The fact that it will clean areas automatically is pretty impressive. It is very easy to set up and let it do its magic. The way the hose and electrical cord are stored neatly with the vacuum is very convenient. The first spot I used this one didn't come out very well, but it was well set in and I'm not sure anything will get it out, but it did work well ...

Advantages I now have new carpets Disadvantages perhaps the cost
...not be using this every week! They also do a “pet odour” cleaning fluid, and a “bare floor” cleaning fluid (£5.99) The Scotchgard cleaning fluid costs £24
I haven’t used the “Bare Floor” cleaner yet, so cannot really say how it works.
The cleaner has 1200- 1400 watts of power, works on 240 volts, and comes with a 1 year warranty.
** Where did I get it? **
I bought mine Bissell from Argos (www.argos.com) it cost £269 (cat no 405/1914). I actually went to Argos through The mutual (www.themutual.net) this was because I earn 2.5% share back on my purchase. I also went for home delivery. Yes it did turn up when it was supposed to.
I would thoroughly recommend everybody get one of these (or a few families get together and get one between them) the difference it makes to the carpet is amazing, and I would assume it will make the carpet...

Advantages: Lightweight, no power cords, easy to clean, picks up debris easily Disadvantages: none that I have found
...to drag around the house this little sweeper is fantastic for those quick jobs.
My dog sheds quite a bit and I was anxious to see if this sweeper would pick up dog hair. Much to my surprise with just two sweeps over the hair it was gone from the carpet. I have been using this on my kitchen floor daily, it's so much easier and faster then using a broom and dustpan!
The Bissell 2101 "Sweep Up" is worth every penny paid for it. I purchased mine at Big Lots, for $12.00! That's close to the price of what you would pay for a good broom and dustpan that limits you to wood or linoleum floors only. Now you have the advantage of using it on your carpets too! I highly recommend this sweeper, especially if you have children or pets, to pick up those little mishaps that happen....
