I have had this router now for well over a year and have found it to be very good - I'll explain why.

The Belkin router is a small compact box that has a pair of aerials on it that detects the signal to enable laptop users to go 'wireless' meaning they do not have to be plugged into their modem any longer and can sit in any room of their home whilst working on the laptop. This can depend on how good the signal strength is and the G plus is the medium range so allows the average home the capability to go in any room and still have a string signal to connect to the Internet.

The installation was very easy - literally it is a case of inserting the CD supplied into your laptop that you want to go wireless with and following the instructions. It is relatively fast to set up as long as you have the access to the net already in your home as it detects it and gives you the instructions to follow to then go fully wireless using your laptop. Once installed you never need to do anything with it as there are no buttons on it just the lights to tell you it's switched on and has a signal.

The box is small enough to be hidden away from view and so does not cause a problem for those who don't want something on display in their home. We actually keep it behind the curtains in the spare room which is hardly ever used and yet can get a perfect signal in any other room so this is good for us.

Price for this particular router is in the region of £40-50 or $75-80 so is pretty reasonable for the one off cost of buying an item like this. We have had no problems with ours in the time we have had it except for the occasional loss of signal but by switching it off and straight back on it immediately fixes this problem and we're back up and running!
