Advantages Easy setup, quite a few features, web based control panel Disadvantages Expensive, a little unreliable
...This is my first router after my great Netgear one.
I bought this router because it was made by Belkin, a respected manufacturer, and because it had all the features I am looking for.
It looks nice, sleek and shiny. The set up is fairly easy, but it didn't work at first because it couldn't connect to my broadband, but this was easily solved by the Belkin Support team.
You can easily manage this router using the web based control panel. From the control panel you can change all the settings as well as reboot or update the router software.
The router can be a bit unreliable, at times it goes very slow or drops the wireless connection, but the majority of the time it has a large and reliable wireless range.

Advantages Extended range, capable of streaming HD video (mostly) Disadvantages Susceptible to interference, needs matching adapters
.... Previously a big issue for wireless networks, some bright spark figured out that if you could bring all the seperately bouncing signals together and 'patch' them back together you might be able to get a complete signal where previuosly you just had broken bits. This DOES work quite well though best results are with matched adapters and routers so figure in buying replacement adapters when considering the cost of this router.
N1 - the latest wireless protocal is 802.11N, this is still NOT official, but everyone (including Belkin) was bringing out 'Pre-N' kit which, in general wouldn't talk to other manufacturers. So the people who set standards have standardised a, err, draft standard call 802.11 Draft N (catchy!) and the current crop of 'N' kit is the industry response - it SHOULD be upgradeable to the true spec later (but they said that about...
