Advantages Quite big, made well, range of colours, good grip on surface
Disadvantages Plain not to everyones taste

...feel you have to wring every last minute out of your novelty ones either because it was a present or in some weird disturbed way you have become attached to it. Well I fell for it for years having many mouse pads from my football one to picking any up at museums and gift shops, they are that wide spread and easy to get but they wouldn’t do the job, they were either to fancy made for looks rather then use and were mainly to glossy to allow your mouse to work properly. Well in a fit of “I can’t be doing with this arrrrrrrrgh” I purposefully went and bought one for 99p a Belkin Standard Mouse Pad in a deep blue colour. ...I broke my wrist about 10 years ago when I was in year 6, and since then it gets quite painful when i overwork it or put too much pressure on it. This includes using the computer and in particular my mouse, I think becuase you have to hold you hand in the same posistion and no blood can circulate, also your wrist needs more support. Ideally your hand and arm should remain level, when I visited my sister I used her mouse pad with a hand rest. It was very comfortable so I decided to invest in one myself, this one only cost me about £4 from Amazon. The pad is a nice dark blus colour, it looks just like a regular mouse pad apart from the gel cusion at the bottom that you rest your wrist on. ...I was given the Belkin gel mousepad as a gift from my sister, I have mild arthritis in my hands and had been using the basic flat as a pancake mousepad for a long time and noticed that my wrist and hand where begining to ache after an hour or so at the computer, I mentioned this to my sister who said she would get a gel mousepad for me as she uses this type at work and it gives a really good support to the wrist.
