I just got this hub yesterday for the new mac that I bought, and I must say, it is a very reliable little piece of equipment. I have used it alot since last night, transferring at least 10gb of files, and using about 5 ports at once with pen drives and hard drives etc etc
I actually got mine for £8.00 which was an absolute bargain. because the previous one that I bought for £20.00, which I cant directly mention what product it was, broke after a week because it couldnt handle all of the information that I was transferring at once, even though it said that it supported this capacity in the specifications.
I reccomend buying this. definately, if you ever need a hub, because it is reliable, and never let me down
