Advantages: fast reliable browsing Disadvantages: n/a
I used to have this router with the computer and it was pretty decent I must say. The internet was always fast, and didnt have moments where it would just lag for hours like some routers did, this one was constantly good for me!
Download speed is pretty fast over it and the connections to the computer are very good too and dont tend to get cut of easily.
It is very reliable, always worked for me and delivered a very good internet experience so ...

Advantages: none that i could see Disadvantages: could not even get the thing to work
I have had no end of problems since I bought this product. Even the technical guy who was fitting my new phone line was having difficulties in getting this one to work!. I ended up having to buy a cable modem and using an ethernet cable.
The instruction manual seemed pretty straight forward but it didn't help me at all either. I only bought this because I have to have my internet through adsl as I am in a non cable area which is frustrating enough. ... ...and you want a wireless modem give this one a skip as it is the biggest heap of junk I have bought , and This is not an exaggeration. Just thought i would share with those thinking of actually buying this, as I hope you will not have to waste your time and money like I did!. ...

Advantages Reliable, easy to setup and use, small footprint. Disadvantages Gets very got through constant use, wireless adapter software can be annoying at times
...The BelkinADSLModemWireless-GWirelessRouter was the first wirelessrouter I owned. It materialized in my home due to the sheer distance of my computer from the phone socket and running an RJ11 phone cable across the house was not a viable option. The router came with a thin but multilingual instruction leaflet which outlined the initial un-boxing and setup but it really could have been more concise. Nevertheless, initial setup was easy enough and I didn't experience any issues.
I had one Ethernet connected computer but I did set up everything first with a wireless computer using the supplied WirelessG USB adapter. The adapter works very well, is good and stable but the supplied Belkin adapter software is fiddly to use and can be confusing.
The router control panel is simple to navigate and offers a lot of options...

Advantages Wireless, reliable, sturdy, stylish, simple Disadvantages None come to mind!
...After initially receiving the "bog standard" Speedtouch 330 USB when signing up for my first ADSL connection I decided that a ADSL gateway was going to be more use in my household! Having 4 computers connected, and a laptop with wireless capability a router/modem/gateway type combination was much needed as up to this point my PC had always had to be always on and the laptop having a cable lying in the living room!
The Belkinrouter seemed like a good choice for our household. We wanted a name that we believed we could trust and also something that offered all the features we wanted and this little box of magic seemed to have it all! The model I bought come with a free wireless dongle too so I would be able to connect one of the other PC's wirelessly too if needed. Also there is a power supply that will need to be connected...

...Look around for a while and found this. Bought this recently to start on broadband wanted a wireless system that was easy to use. As I am new to computers found this easy to set up no wire around the house, only need to plug into my telephone line. The modem is small and compact however I feel you need to have someplace safe to store modem as attennae looks fragile. Phoned help line to ensure that I was doing the right thing in the set up they were very helpful. Transfer time fast and downloading fast. I would recommend this product to anyone and I feel that the price is right for the product too.You need to pay accessories to link with your computer....
