I bought this game after really enjoying athens 2004 but was a bit disappointed at how there is more quantity than quality in the different events. It is extremley fun with friends though, I could play for hours against my friends online or through system link. It is also more challenging than Athens 2004 so if anyone owns or used to own that game do not expect to break the world records as easily. An example of quantity rather than quantity is some of the 'other' events these are judo, table tennis, cayaking, cycling among others. It seems that SEGA made the 'other' section in a week because of the poor gameplay. Overall I believe that this game is very good with mates but is not so good when playing alone.
