...As a fan of animated animal movies such as Happy Feet and Finding Nemo, I was pleased to see adverts for Bee Movie - it just looked so cute, of course I had to give it a try! In case you couldn't guess from the title, Bee Movie is based around, well, bees. More specifically, it is about a young bee called Barry who just can't decide what he wants to do with his life. It is traditional for all of the bees to only work in one job for their entire life, and he just can't choose which area is right for him. He decides to give pollen collecting a go, however whilst out collecting pollen he gets trapped in the rain and ends up inside a human house where everybody tries to kill him - with the exception of a woman called Vanessa who saves his life. And, somewhat oddly, he ends up falling in love with her. He begins to visit her frequently... Read review

...Bee movie is a good little childrens movie. It is about a bee who leaves the hive and discovers how thei bees hard work making honey only goes to line humans pockets when they take their honey and sell it in shops. He takes on the humans and also befriends a human woman which results in trouble sometimes. Featuing Rene Zelwiger and Jerry Seinfeld voices it has a lot of funny lines and his humour running right through it . I have enjoyed myself some of these kids animated films(i still love finding nemo even) and i love seinfeld but i thought it was just ok. The children, who lets face it are the important one regarding this review enjoyed it and my children found it funny and gave it a 7 out of 10 so not a bad review for this movie.... Read review

Disadvantages weak plot and overly complex controls.

...Whilst this game does offer some interesting features such as the variation between the wlking and flying sections of the game, and a range of additional mini games you get the sense that throughout the game some key element is missing. The plot is poor at best and during play you often find yourself wandering around the ridiculous hive, constantly wondering where you are and where you should go next. I also feel that they could have used the wiimote much more effectively when they were designing the controls for the game. The existing system in which you have to use a combination of the wiimote and nunchuck buttons, and the nunchuck analogue stick is far too complex to make this enjoyable during gameplay, particularly as you then have to focus on aiming your weapon in a different direction at various other insects....
