BananaRepublic.com is a great counterpart to the store, I use it to check out items I've seen in person. Occasionally the prices are different, so if a top was on sale offline, it might not be online or vice versa. But the quality is the same, unlike with some other brands where the merchadise is decidedly different between the brick-and-mortar store and the online shop. The overall appearance is nice. The huge picture in the middle of the page is a bit much but I guess the page has to be taken up with something. The site is really easy to navigate through. One of my favorite stores, online and brick and mortar. I love browsing the web site as much as I do their retail store. The selection is much better online, though the clearance section may be different, naturally. Sometimes I find it much more relaxing to shop online in the comfort of my own home. ...The Gap's online store is just as hip and fresh as their retail store. I find it easier to shop their web site than their regular store. Videos add to the online shopping experience. The site is easy to navigate, they provide detailed product information, show what sizes are in stock. When looking at a produce category, you can get a "quick view" of the item without leaving the page. They oftentimes have sales and their clearance section is clearly marked. You can really find some bargains in the clearance section. One new feature is that you can combine your purchases with those from Old Navy, Banana Republic, and Piperlime. You can also use your Old Navy or Banana Republic card as payment, in addition to other common payment options. You can also get cash back with Fatwallet.com and Ebates.com for added savings....
