Advantages: this is an effective product Disadvantages: cannot think of any disadvantages
This product is given to me by my sister and it is just in time becaue those are the days that i have been complaining how my hands aged so quickly due to constantly doing the laundry. It develops fine yet very visible lines and wrinkles. When she fiave it to me, i instantly applied it. It is very rich, yet it is not heavy and not greasy at all. It is easily absorbed by the skin. It leaves a smooth feeling. It does not work overnight, of course. ...

Advantages Cheap and extremely good! Disadvantages ummm... not a flip lid! (not a major disadvantage!)
...I have my mother's hands, hard working hands she calls them. And she is right, I do a lot of DIY, cleaning and anything else as I really don't mind getting my hands dirty!! But I pay the price!!! I get really dry hands, especially at work when I'm dealing with loads of paper work which dries them out. But my problem was solved with Avon's Glycerine hand and nailcream with silicone!!
My mum used to be an Avon lady a few years ago. She mainly started doing it when we moved to the island to meet new people and earn some extra cash. It definitely worked as she seems to know everyone in town! Plus she still has cupboards full of the stuff. You name it she's got it in her cupboard!! So this was 'borrowed' from her room on a major dry hand day. My hands seem to swell (don't laugh) during the extreme cold or heat!! I have to take...

...Why not give yourself a treat for only a couple of pounds? I do frequently!
For many years I have been a great fan of Avon products and Avon has produced a cream, which is suitable for both hands and nails. It is called Hand Care Complex and helps to combat dryness even on sensitive skin. This pink and white, easy to squeeze tube comes in one size and contains 100ml of cream. The cream helps to reduce dryness, soothing the skin whilst strengthening the nails, helping to combat brittleness and aids in nail flexibility. It seems to leave an invisible film of moisture on the skin to guard hands against drying or chapping and cares for nails by making them more flexible thus less likely to chip, crack or break. I do find that I can wash my hands and they do remain lovely and soft.
With the central heating on in my home, I find my hands...

...I am the first to admit that my hands are rough, this is due to the fact that I do a lot of hard graft and get very dirty. Therefore I wash them several times a day which leads them to get dry and cracked. I have a problem with finding a hand-cream that absorbs quickly but isn't too oily, as I quickly go on to something else to do and get even dirtier!
The other day, whilst digging through my collection of Avon bits and pieces I came across this handcream which I thought I didn't like, I didn't haven't anything to lose so I gave it another opportunity.
*THE PACKAGING*
The bottle is your standard hand-cream sized squeezy tube, about five inches long and it stands on it's lid to make for easier application. The design may have changed since I bought this approximately a year ago, but this one is an off-white colour with a pink lid...
