Avon has pulled no punches when they say that Glycerin Hand Cream with Silicone is great, because it is.
I have ordered Avon for years, I am always wanting something for my lips or hands from them. They make good lotions, and other products.
I purchased this hand creme one summer. I needed something that would give my hands a coated protection. Something that would keep them hydrated and soft, not dried out, looking, and certainly not cracked.
... ...help with my hands. I find that it will stay on even through several hand washings, it seems to be always there.
I can feel the smoothness and know that glycerin is a natural substance, and can feel safe.
I have used glycerin soaps on my face, as well as my body. Works well.
I love the silicone. It tends to shield my hands, even my heels, and elbows. I use it frequently on my knees, too.
This product is useful, and a must for people who experience ...

Silicone Glove Review ofAvon Glycerine Hand Cream with Siliconeby

After spending many years of working in a nursing home, my hands would get so dry, they would crack and bleed from washing them so much and from wearing those lovely latex gloves. I would try lotion after lotion and nothing really seemed to work. No more than I would get lotion on my hands, it would have to be washed back off again. It wasn't until a couple years ago did I learn about Avon's great product called Silicone glove. This stuff is excellent! ... ...through hand wash after hand wash. It isn't a greasy lotionon and it doesn't have a bad smell to it. It is well worth the money you spend in buying it. I would recommend anybody that has problems with dry skin anywheres on your body to try this stuff.
My husband even uses it for his hands and asks me when I will buy him more. ...

Advantages Cheap, not greasy, goes a long way and has a pleasant smell Disadvantages Leave the hands feeling a little strange, but this is not unpleasant.
...I was never a person to use handcream but when I hurt my back a few years ago, my hand started to develop dry, rough patches. Like your feet, your hand revel the true state of your body! It was then that I discovered Avon’s ‘GlycerineHandCream with Silicone’; my mother had used it for years, and a glycerinecream before that, so she suggested that I try it out.
Initially my hands felt greasy and very slippery as I applied a small amount of the cream (size of a pea) and began to rub it into my hands. It seemed to also cool my hands slightly. Once the cream was well absorbed into my dry hand, it felt like a coat of plastic covered my hand. That must be the silicone working! The tube states that both the glycerine and silicone it contains are ‘well known for their intense moisturisation and skin protection properties...

...Happy New Year!!
Well, reading SusanLesley’s excellent opinion on AvonGlycerineHandCream with Silicone reminded me that I wanted to review this product too. Her opinion was a very positive one, whereas mine isn’t really. It just shows you how wide opinions can be, varying from one person to the next, so it’s a good idea to try it out for yourself!
I received this handcream from my Avon lady as a freebie with my Christmas order, so that was very kind of her and I was looking forward to trying it out. I have dry hands, especially in cold weather like it is now. I get eczema sometimes too and have recently had dry, peeling skin in-between my fingers, which has led to me being unable to wear my engagement ring!
The most striking thing about this cream is the packaging. The tube has a blue lid and a white back...

Advantages Advantages: good value for money Disadvantages Disadvantages: Would prefer a flip-top lid
...I'm always on the look for a good handcream. I find my hands can dry out very quickly when working and need something that is quickly absorbed and non-sticky, so it's a tall order for most handcreams.
I bought Avon's GlycerineHandCream with Silicone from my local Avon representative when they were having a sale. I bought mine for ₤1, this cream normally retails for ₤1.99 for a 125ml tube.
Appearance:
The tube I bought is white with green writing and on the front a pale green rectangular pattern. I have seen this handcream in different colours of packaging but always in a 125ml tube with a screw top lid.
Use:
I used this for the first time after I'd been cleaning the house, so my hands were feeling quite tight and a little dry. Opening the tube is easy; the tube has a screw top lid. I must admit I prefer...
