Advantages: Great Sound, Two tape decks, and 5 disck changer Disadvantages: N/A
The Panasonic SC AK22 Mini System Stero makes listening to your music within your home easy and fun. This stero offers a 5 disk changer which allows complete control over all songs on every disk. Place your favorite five in and choose your play mode. I recommend the "Shuffle", where songs are played at random from each disc until you choose to stop listening. Great mode for parties where everyone has brought there own music and would like to listen ... ...all the hassle of choosing. Listen away!
Also, there are 2 tape decks, one for playing and one for recording. This gives the AK22 an advantage for people who wish to record their favorite radio station or music. With all the extra selections, and equalizer, the AK22 will have the whole house enjoying their music, and maybe even busting a move to their favorite new hits. ...

Advantages: Sounds good, easy to use, compact & good looking Disadvantages: Maybe only the size that limits the range of the sound
I love this system. Simple to set up (instructions are easy to understand) & you don't need to be an electronics expert to start using it. The remote is fantastic & so easy to use. Plus if you're a dinasaur like me & still have cassettes (yes, kids those archaic rectangular discs that your parents have that music comes out of) this is the machine for you. I also love the fact that it can play my WMA & mp3 files that I download. It's goodlooking, ...

Advantages: Good sound, space saver Disadvantages: might not take abuse or hard use
I came across this system by accident at a local pawn shop. I almost walked past it, but the styling and the color was attractive to the eyes. I stopped. I turned it on and was very surprised. For a low end < system, this little bugger gives great sound... the speakers are very good and the quality of cd play is a surprise for a small system like this. It has a fully functional remote. I like that you can do anything, change cd, stop ... ...is a small system, will fit most bookcases and would be a great addition to a dorm room or a bathrom , where minimal space is alotted. I like the clear blue window on the front, it allows visibilty to see what cd is in there and to varify it is running. Not a high end sytem , nor for professional use, but i would reccomend this for home and teen rooms and college dorm use. A 2 thumbs up ! ...

Advantages: Can plug in your Computer or iPod with inexpensive cables. Disadvantages: In larger rooms, the stereo may not be able to fill the room with sound.

I'm reviewing the Panasonic SC PMO7 Micro stereo system.
I bought this stereo several years ago when I was in college. The primary reason for the purchase was to hook my computer up to a stereo so that I can enjoy my music on a nicer set of speakers. First the size and form of the stereo makes it ideal to be placed on a bookshelf. It is lightweight and the speakers can be away from the base.
As for the audio, I find it to be excellent. ... ...home theatre system.
The Panasonic SC PMO7 stereo includes a cassette player, CD player, radio and an auxillary input. I find that I only use the CD player as well as the auxillary input. The reason for this is that I don't really have any tapes and when I really only listen to the radio in the car. The aux input is how I hook my computer to it, it can be done simply and cheaply with a set of cables from radioshack. As for the reliability. I've ...

Advantages: Small, pretty, with a good sound for its size Disadvantages: Poor radio reception, clock/stations need resetting often
...of micro system made by Aiwa will or will not do for you. Take it more as a general review of Aiwa's compact disc stereo systems than of a review of this model in particular. Now that we have this straight, let's get on with it.
There were no tricks in putting this together to get it working. Plug the speakers into the stereo, plug the antenna into the stereo, put batteries (supplied) into the remote and then plug the system into the mains and turn ... ...still be handy. Thank goodness Aiwa wrote an extremely simple to understand instruction book. And that's certainly one point in their favor. So while, for the most part, this system is fairly easy to use, it could have been a bit easier. As I noted above, the regular antenna that comes with this machine is just not good enough to get good station reception. If you really want to hear the radio clearly on this machine, you have to hook it up to an ...
