JVC is a well known brand in AV products. And the MX KC68 is another product line from them. Judging from the design, it's clearly that JVC is rather focusing on cosmetic aspects than the sound quality. the overall design is somewhat-over designed and it looks too complicated. But the output is not suited well for fast paced music (house or disco and rock). I came across this system by accident at a local pawn shop. I almost walked past it, but the styling and the color was attractive to the eyes. I stopped. I turned it on and was very surprised. ...is a small system, will fit most bookcases and would be a great addition to a dorm room or a bathrom , where minimal space is alotted. I like the clear blue window on the front, it allows visibilty to see what cd is in there and to varify it is running.
