Also, I've never tried to listen to an FM station farther away than Newark, NJ, so I'm not sure whether this antenna is really an improvement over the older TERK model it replaced, but there's no comparison between it and the T-shaped wire that came with the tuner. I did use the amplifier mode and was able to receive all of the FM radio sources listed on the web at the "radio-locator" service, some as far away as 30 miles. I was able to receive all of the radio stations in stereo mode with no evidence of noise. Since the actual antenna is protected by an outside casing, I was able to use the assembly in contact with drapery material with no significant degradation in performance. I have been using this phone to for 2 weeks and I think that it is a good mobile phone. I like P990i because the display is very large and watching video clips using P990i is very good. The P990i is a touch screen phone and it is like a PDA. I use a lot of the functions in P990i such as Microsoft Office and WiFi. By using WiFi, I can go online at some places that have WiFi connectivity. I use P990 i do some of the Word documents and read documents ...
...the phone will lag a bit but it is still acceptable. I can wait for the phone to load those programs running at the background. Sometimes, the phone might crash or hang and when this happens, I need to restart the phone again. Anyway, I think that it is just the problem of the firmware of the phone.
