Advantages: Turns your portable radio into an iPod player.
Disadvantages: Cannot hold reception in an automobile.
This little transmitter is easy to use. Just plug it into your iPod, tune the transmitter to a station, tune your radio to the same station, & play your music. It is great for using with a portable boom box inside the home or outside, however in the car it is more difficult to keep it playing on the station in your car. If you're on the move in an autombile you constantly lose reception and have to keep changing the channel on the transmitter....while ...

I have found that everytime I turn my transmitter off I have to remove the batteries and then replace them when I want to use the transmitter again, not sure why this happens.
