Athena AS-P400

The AS-P400 is a high powered active subwoofer designed for use in high powered Audio Video systems, like a system comprised of AUDITION Series speakers from athena TECHNOLOGIES. A custom designed 400 watt peak, 100 watt RMS amplifier drives the over built 10" Injection Molded polypropylene woofer, both built in house in athena's Toronto facility. The cabinet is a front firing, front vented design which allows for much easier room placement than traditional rear vented designs. The controls have been conveniently located on the front of the sub. Easily reached and easily adjusted. The Frequency control utilizes athena's exclusive SCT or System Creation Technology by having specific settings for all of the AUDITION series models, as well as the Point 5 bookshelf. So set up couldn't be any more accurate, or simple. Just match the model number of your athena speakers to the settings on the dial, and plug the subwoofer in - that's it! The end result is an easy to set up subwoofer that will sound better due to athena's leading edge technology, and the innovation of SCT! Finished in matching Black Ash finish with a unique silver baffle, the AS-P400 cosmetically matches the Audition Series perfectly.
