This is actually great for us students, we can now buy non expensive wi-fi capable note book pc, 7" bright with good contrast display, pretty portable isnt it? with built in Linux OS and 2000MB Flash Drive, now with 3 more colors to choose from; pink, blue and green, Apple like clean design with no removable access panels. Memory in the Eee PC 2G, both RAM and the Solid State Disk (SSD), are not user upgradable. Unlike the 8G and early models of the 4G Eee PC, the memory is soldered into place.
Cons: using only flash drive, you can upgrade to XP though you need a separate supplied XP driver set and buy a license. limited battery life to 3.4 hrs compared to others.
