I remember the first time I saw the iPod Touch. It was just different from the iPhone! In December, I bought it with the money I received as holiday presents. I made an unboxing video, and when I turned it on and "slid to unlock", I gasped. I was in shock! It was just about the most beautiful piece of gadgetry I have ever seen in my entire life! It was just so sleek, shiny, and smooth! I have always loved how Apple designed their products, but this was exceptional. Anyways, I plugged it in, and synced it., which did not take very long. The iPod Touch music application is wonderful for looking for music, and it's just so fun to flick through your albums in cover flow! Video is also beautiful, and runs very smoothly on the Touch's 3.5 inch wide screen. But, the greatest thing about the iPod Touch is the internet capability. It can connect to all of my wireless networks. Its just like a tablet! Being able to browse the internet by just a pinch of your fingers and a flick was wonderful, and is a pleasure to use while on the go. The photo application is also great for showing your pictures to friends and family , the Touch can also be used as a mini digital picture frame as well! I do admit that i have jailbroken my iPod, and the third party application are just great! I can put several emulators onto it, including NES, Game Boy Advance, SNES, and many others. There are also games like transport tycoon, tap tap revolution, and labyrinth which are extremely entertaining when bored. Developers have also come out with a phone application for the Touch, which uses VOIP (voice over IP), to call people with your iPod! They also sell homemade microphones so you can talk into it as well. It's basically an iPhone now! Another beautiful game that I would like to mention is iPhysics. It's a greatly designed physics game for the iPod, a port of crayon physics, previously available on the computer. Now, I would like to talk about the iPhone applications available on the iPod Touch. All of them work, except for SMS of course. You can use maps, even the locate me button works! You can set up your mail account, and receive emails on the go. You can also check the weather of most areas in the world. You can also buy songs while outside with the iTunes application! Just enter your iTunes account information, and you can download songs right onto your iPod. And, last but not least, I want to mention the Touchpad pro application. Via VNC, you can connect your iPod to your computer, and use it as a trackpad and a keyboard! It is just amazing what people are coming up with these days...
I love my iPod Touch, and I definitely recommend it for everyone out there!
