No need to spend a bundle on a regular Ipod if you're someone constantly on the go or on the move. At a tiny 1.62 inches and only half an ounce, it is certainly not an inconvenience. As a matter of fact, you'll barely even notice it's there at all with being able to clip it to your sleeve, buckle, bag or wherever else you feel comfortable.
Being the world's smallest digital music player (to which I didn't realize at first), doesn't take away from it's amazing playing ability. At one gigabyte of space, you can play up to 240 songs for 12 hours CONTINUOUSLY with NO skips. Even if you have more than 240 songs, you can automatically fill up your shuffle simply by connecting it to your Itunes using the headphone jack, on your computer (PC or Mac). You can even synchronize your itunes playlist to which I personally prefer, and just shuffle later with a quick flick of the switch.
The shuffle comes in other colors to suit your mood, or just if you have a particular color preference... those being silver, blue, purple, and pink, aside from this green one. Other skins are available to more personalize your player. Orange is my favorite color by the way *hint hint!*.
Given it's size, and the options available even despite it's size, I think the Ipod shuffle is an excellent value for your money. The only two drawbacks comes first with the battery, to which takes 4 hours to charge which for some is an eternity. Also, the headphones that come with it are almost a joke. They are almost a burden to your ears and do not produce the sound quality that you'd expect from any player, much less this one. I personally recommend and use the Sony MDR-W08L for ALL audio I have (review for this I have posted).
On the major plus side, is that again despite these drawbacks, knowing that it is an Apple product, you know there are other accessories available to aid in a better experience such as a power adapter or charger. Sure you might spend a little more, but that is for you to determine once you have and experience this player. Otherwise, the Ipod shuffle is for those not only on the go, but those who are looking a quick music fix, or a means to make the time go by faster in some work, sport, or leisure activity,... and for that, there's no other place to look than right here.
