Very Solid MP3 player - I received the 8GB Nano for Christmas after having some experience with other players I was ready to see what all the Ipod hype was about. First of all, the form factor is pleasantly small and slim, it feels very nice in the hand. The screen is small but bright. Be sure to subscribe to a podcast or 2, this keeps content fresh on your player. The sound is average (the earbuds are the main culprit here). I LOVE THIS IPOD!!!! I hated the bulkiness of the original ipod and when this came out i had to get it!! Great memory for 1st time users, great sound, easy to use, and with me adding all my favorite music & now VIDEOS....it has been a win-win relationship. I could not have asked for better. However, next time around I will obtain more memory just for my own personal uses. There is not anything that I didnt like about this, but I woudl have one suggestion ...

A great piece of hardware. I take with me everywhere... It is incredibly smal and can hold up to much more music you can ever listen to in a day :) The battery life is excellent and the product is very solid. The screem doesn't scratch as with previous versions. Overall an amazing product!

This is a great improvement on the previous generation of the iPod nano. It has plenty of space to store music and there is an impressively sharp screen to play back videos and for a slideshow of your photos (which you can also upload using iTunes.) The widescreen is very slick and the weight is light enough so the ipod isn't felt too much when it is in your pocket. Though the screen itself is small, it wouldn't be a nano if it was any bigger! The small size and its ultra-thin body is the beauty of the product. The usability of the software has improved considerably, with fewer technical hitches and slow-downs. The earphones are always a problem with ipods but the ones provided are not too bad and you can always get some different ones separately. I have stuck to the apple earphones and never had reason to complain.
