I get great sound, easy navigation, and enough storage space to get a weeks worth of music, audiobooks, and podcasts. I can not imagine a day without it.
It is small and durable enough that I can use it on my work outs without concerns of it breaking or extra weight wearing me down. I get around 10 hours of battery life each charge which is perfect to get me through the day, but can be a little too short on when I'm on vacation.
The itunes integration was been wonderful. I've been able to find new music as well as podcasts to expand my tastes. Transferring music from my computer to my ipod is an extremely easy experience.The downside is the expensive accessories. It seems third parties want triple the cost just for putting the word ipod on an accessory.
