Well, for those that have been asleep for the past 10 years an iPod is a personal music player. Kinda like those walkmans you used to get in the 80's, only smaller and much cooler. These days the choice of iPods is somewhat bewildering, with the Shuffle, Nano, Video ... ...get me battered by any Apple fanboys, but it's the truth.
.It is absolutely 110% advisable to invest in a pair of quality earphones. The money is well spent, since you can see just how good the reproduction on the device is. Also nice black headphones go really well with the black exterior. I am a bit vain, yes, thanks for asking!
