I got the iPod classic for Christmas and have been using it frequently since then. I've hardly made a dent in its massive memory capacity, and that's including videos. (Okay, so it's more than a dent!)
I've no problems with performance, the battery life is long, and it's much sleeker than my old iPod, which in comparison looks like an obese MP3 player.
The only potential complaint I might have is something I can't honestly complain about - the price of roughly $230. Since it was a gift, I'm not in a position to say "it was worth the cost." That said, I would be very tempted to buy it if I didn't already own it. Of course, I also might have just waited for the iPod touch to gain more memory... but that's a pipe dream.
