The ipod works great both as a way to listen to music and watch videos and to use as an external hard drive. It has a very user friendly interface. It allows you to search through your music, videos, or files in several ways which is also convenient. It is easy to sync to either Mac or PC. If you have a Mac and want to copy music from a PC, you are better off configuring it to the PC. It does have several problems, however. The ipod's battery life dwindles over time. When the battery dies, a new ipod must be purchased. It also has some problems with freezing, needing frequent resetting. These problems, however, would not stop me from purchasing another ipod in the future.
