...Have now owned my U2 Video Ipod for 8 months now, and i haven't really had any problems. The design is distinctive and popular, set apart from the normal video iPods with the red wheel and signatures. Apart from that the features are exactly the same as the normal 30GB iPod. Only real drawback i have encountered is that sometimes the iPod trips over some mp3s, meaning it resets itself and will not play the song, though syncing the iPod with iTunes again has solved these problems every time. I would recommend the U2 iPod as a purchase, and feel it is worth the premium over the normal iPod, but in essence the premium is simply for exclusivity. Otherwise, the screen is crystal clear, and i have found the black back of the U2 iPod to show much less scratching than the normal video iPod.... Read review

...This is an u2 version of the ipod my first and only iPod and it could cost as mushas an 80GB iPod. After all this time somehow I have managed to keep it pretty much scratch free but it does have a few scratches on it. This is a very nice product made by apple it is basically an iPod nothing really special on less of course you are a big of u2. The front of the iPod is the usual black but the scroll buttons or click wheel as apple calls it is red and instead of the back being silver its black stainless steel with u2 band members name inscribed on them by a laser. Also he memory size is quite small at only 30 GB compared with today's models coming in at about 160 GB. I am hoping they will re- release this model with a larger hard drive. ...I have now had my ipod barely a couple of weeks now, i bought it because it looks so good especialy this U2 special edition. These are my advantages and disadvantages. The advantages with this ipod as i briefly mentioned above is the look of the ipod it looks stuning, as one of the main reasons of me buying the ipod was because i wanted to update from my bland looking cheap mp3 player. The second advantage to the ipod is the simplicity which you can navigate through the different menus, using the touch wheel. The third advantage is simply the picture it gives when playing videos on it, it gives a sharp clear image, like watching the TV its so good.
