Apple iPhone

Apple iPhone

iPhone combines three products - a revolutionary mobile phone, a widescreen iPod with touch controls, and a breakthrough Internet communications device with desktop-class email,... more...web browsing, maps, and searching - into one small and lightweight handheld device. iPhone also introduces an entirely new user interface based on a large multi-touch display and pioneering new software, letting you control everything with just your fingers. So it ushers in an era of software power and sophistication never before seen in a mobile device, completely redefining what you can do on a mobile phone.

In my opinion the brand new apple i-phone isn't that amazing. Yes, it has wi-fi internet, but it's not much faster than last time. Yes, it has a video function, but that video function is far from brilliant. The only real difference from last time is the GPS, or the Sat Nav. It works surprisingly well and i would go as far as to say that it is the best GPS on any phone i've ever used. unfortunately, the 3G internet isn't as fast as it promises to be (when is it ever?), and the rest of the phone is lacking in other areas, too. The phone security could be better, too. If they offered a password function, the phone would be a lot safer. also, the fact that it is still available on only one network is annoying as i much prefer Orange. The touch-screen may make it difficult to use for many people. Personally, it was hard to get around the phone due to this. It's not bad, but it's nothing new either.

As much of my review seems to be made up of technical terms, i will explain them here:
Wi-Fi: The best way to access the internet on the move.
3G: The fastest (and pobably best) type of internet you can get on phones.
SatNav: A way to see where you are and where to go, on your phone.
