The Apple Mac mini is a nice little computer which I have in the room upstairs for personal stuff like music, watching DVDs and other things I like to do like work with adobe photoshop and maya on graphics. This Mac mini is for people who want a Mac, but can't afford one. It's about $600, half the price of an iMac. But, unlike the price and the size, it unbelievably works well. I have had this about over an year, and it's still perfect. I ran Flash CS3, Photoshop CS3, Safari, and iWeb all at once, and it still worked great. ...Possibly the best computer known to man I own one of these Mac Minis and they really are fantastic machines. For a start, I chose a Mac Mini because I wanted a desktop computer but had limited space available. It was ideal. Still to this day I'm baffled how they manage to fit a whole computer in here. It also has a great spec. that you can check on apple.com and is fully customizable! As you can see from the image, it is approximately the width of a CD! Mac v Windows I made the switch to Mac several years ago when a friend showed me his Mac mini (which previously ran on a PowerPC chip). I loved the machine from that day on..... ...I have been a Mac user for the last few years, my first plunge was with a Mac mini and this allowed me to try the Apple brand without spending too much money. I loved the Apple product so much that after 12 months of using the Mac Mini I went out and bought an iMac 20" 2.16Ghz core 2 duo. I love it! My mac mini had OSX Panther installed and now I have OSX Tiger which has so many little improvements over Panther such as Dashboard - I have my calculator, google mail checker, webcam viewer and other little bits and bobs which all pop up as soon as I press F12. Great touch. The computer itself is a dream to use. It came with a 250GB hard drive which is almost full now and no slowdown in performance is found. - The monitor is crisp and clean and the speakers quite powerful.
