...This is an excellent laptop. I have not had any issues with any aspect of it. The size and weight makes it easy to carry around. The computer operates quickly. The design is very nice and professional looking. There are many built in features such as the camera that come in very handy. The software such as Microsoft office can transfer to other computers including desktops and non macs. The keyboard offers a similar style to that of a PC and the letters are raised up unlike many other laptops. The price is a little higher than other laptops but it is worth it. This laptop never malfunctions and you will never need to take it in to have repairs done to it so spending the extra money is well worth it.... Read review

...woohoo... yay! Another one of apples finest, the Apple MacBook Pro Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz - 15.4" TFT. Just as I expected from the best computer company in the world! You can always rely on apple to bring you reliable, fast and great looking macs which will not let you down! The macs are just brilliant, absolutely no problems with them! This particular laptop is just beautiful, I love its design... i love all macs designs... but thats not the point!!! This laptop is just amazing, it is also very light and easy to carry about too! Definately reccomend buyin this laptop to anyone because it can run some pretty big programs and will definately keep all your work and files safe for a long time!... Read review

...My sister in law had bought this very nice looking apple laptop. It is a very expensive kind of laptop to have and I think that is why she liked it because she thought that it would work better than others that was cheap. But she has told me that it worked ok but not as good as she thought that it would. The down loading was slower than some laptops. The connection was difficult at times to get onto the internet. It is very thin looking and the graphics were nice looking. It was very easy to use when typing and doing other things. It is very portable but is not as reliable as she had hoped that it would be.... Read review

Advantages Good price, great design, runs OSX, Windows & Linux
Disadvantages Poor build quality, lack of RAM

...The 1.83Ghz C2D Apple MacBook is a great entry level Mac, and an ideal replacement for the discontinued 12" PowerBook. However, there are a number of issues you should be aware of: 1. 512MB of RAM is not enough. Whilst it is usable, it is vastly restricted by it's memory. Having put in 2x 1GB sticks (after market, from Crucial, circa £50) it runs like a dream. 2. Screen faults. I have noticed flickering on the screen when running on battery and left idle (it isn't a problem when the computer is in use). I'm told this is a hardware problem. 3. Case issues. I have noticed significant hairline fractures around the bottom of the case. I move the laptop a lot, so this can be expected from the plastic case. These do not look to ever cause a real issue. Whilst the MacBook has it's faults, it's price range makes it an attractive option... Read review

...The Apple MacBook Pro Core Duo 2 GHz - 15.4" TFT is the best laptop I have ever tried out. One of the best features is the Iphoto program, where there is a webcam just above the screen. There is around 20 modes which you can set the camera to (normal, mirror, stretch, buldge and other) which you can use on MSN Messenger or you can just pull funny faces at yourself and have a laugh with your friend. The internt (Safari Zone) is very easy to use. Safari Zone is very clever because if the website you go on has a trace of a virus, it won't let you click that or download anything. This is worth the money in every single penny. But down get ripped of I wouldn't buy it for over £900 (apart from extras) Good Luck!!... Read review

...the apple macbook it one of the best designs of computors that i have ever come across. evry macbook has some amazing aplications sush as iphoto to share all of your photos with people who have an email adress. you even have a built in webcam wich means that you can take pictures of yourself and videos straight from your laptop. with the webcam you have 16 fun effects that you can play around with. this apple laptop makes your life much easier. its very portable and not to big. these laptops are not to overpriced iether so there quite affordable. as this laptop is a widescreen you can have more than 1 aplication running at the same time wich makes life much easier....
