Advantages nice screen, good battery life, fast specs Disadvantages large size (price?)
...Applemac-books, where to start...
ok, so to start,
it is an apple, that means you get a solid quality product and on the whole very good customer are.
this particualar apple is deffinatly more suited to being a media center than other laptops. At first glance you realise that it is a fairly large laptop, this allows for a big screen, which being an apple ffers clear vivid displays, unfortunatly the big screen increases the overal size and also uses more battery, however, the 4.5 hour yattery is still very good for an entertainment laptop.
The laptops technical specs include a very fast 2.5 ghz dual core proccesor which is very fast, the dual core allows it to tackle multiple tasks quicly as well as increasing the overall speed of the laptop.
The price is quite steep however, but i believe, if given the money...

General comments: I wanted to upgrade my old Titanium Powerbook (bought in 2001) and so took a flight to London to personally handle the latest MacBookPro 17". I walked into the shop in Regent Street with £3000 cash - discovered the MBP was in my eyes rubbish, so came home again without wasting my money. I had seen the Macbook 13" black book and was impressed since it was compact and had most of the features of the MBP. Hence at the start of December 2007 I walked into a shop in France and bought it - you can only go for so long trying to use hardware which is seven years old when working in the hi-tech world. I made the compromise and bought this Macbook and was able to persuade Monsieur Lawrence of Apple Service in France to exchange the French keyboard for a QWERTY one free of charge. He was also kind enough to send me the latest "Leopard...

Advantages Excellent Design, Light Weight, Trendy, Good Speed Disadvantages Difficult to use at first by a Windows XP user
...I searched all over the net to find a laptop. My primary criteria was the look of one. I didnt find anything better than an AppleMacBookPro and went ahead and asked my dad to buy it for me. Only, when I got the laptop I realised that the operating system was not Windows. I found it very tough and frustrating to use the machine for a long while for I was used to WIndows and had never used the Mac operating system. However, I slowly started getting a hang of the system. After a while, I got used to the system and liked it a lot. I recently bought a new laptop, which is Sony TX-17 and now I find it difficult to use Windows. Having used both I find Apple's operating system better than Windows. The programs are more user friendly. As for the design, I dont think anything can beat Apple, they are so stylish and cool. My next laptop is going...
