Advantages: You can work anytime, anywhere; You can enjoy a wireless lifestyle Disadvantages: expensive; since it is wireless you might not get the best connection everytime
Are you a Mac fan? I am. I was exhilarated when I heard about Apple's latest innovation which they refer to as the "thinnovation" which is more commonly known as the MacBook Air.
There are three things I love about this good-looking piece of technology. I'm crazy about the fully wireless lifestyle the MacBook Air provides for its users. If you're a traveler, this is good stuff. It spares you from the hassles of wires and plug-ins. Moreover, the ... ...it is more power efficient. It has longer battery life which means you can work longer hours when no socket is in sight. Lastly, I love it's trackpad with its multi-touch technology. It makes maneuvering your laptop a lot easier and faster. The MacBook is thin but sturdy. But this may not be the laptop for everyone. It's quite expensive for a laptop. ...

Advantages: Sim design Disadvantages: No optical drive
I bought the Macbook Air about four monts ago. I have been very pleased with my Mac book Air. It has worked perfect since I first turned it on. Migrated from my old Mac Book without a hitch. Booted the Mac Book Air and everything was there even parallels and windows with all my windows programs intact. For storage, this MacBook Air comes with an 80 GB Parallel ATA hard disk drive (4200 RPM). The 2 GB of PC5300 DDR2 RAM (two SO-DIMMs of 1024 MB) has ...

Advantages Great look and design Disadvantages No Disk drive
..., is rather slow, in comparison to its predecessors.
When using it, i had 3 applications open: FINDER AND TWO SAFARI WINDOWS...and i felt that the computer had slowed down a GREAT deal.
Of course we know its thin, so according to apple, it shouldn't matter how fast it is, as long as it is thin and beautiful.
THIRDLY
the battery isnt replacable and the hard drive is very small with only 80GB (excluding mac interface). this is unlike mac's previous notebooks.
HOWEVER... IF WE LOOK AT THE GOOD STUFF....
macbook air has encorporated some of the technology found in the apple iphone such as pinching to zoom and swiping into the touch pad of computer.
on opening the notebook lid, the led lit backlight automatically turns on to full brightness giving a beautifully crisp picture which uses minimum battery due to led lights
it has...

Advantages Ultra thin construction, light weight Disadvantages Sacrificed some features to its size
....36Kg.
The accurate size is 1.94 x 32.5 x 22.7 cm (H x W x D).
0.16-0.76", 12.8", 8.94" (H, W, D)
Processor
Human is a ruler of earth, why?
There are other lives also, but they doesn't deserve to this? Ofcourse.
Because Human has a brilliant mind, a processor which can think about right and wrong as well.
So whenever I write a review on laptops or computers my first target always remains a processor.
Considering this MacBookair available in 2 Model one has 1.6GHz (1.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 4MB shared L2 cache) core2 duo and 1.8 GHz (1.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 4MB shared L2 cache) core2 duo Intel processors.
Now if we have a look on processor than we will find that it is something less than its hit model MacBook pro.. Why?
Because the main aim of MacBookair was its size and weight so...

MacBook Air is ultrathin, ultraportable, and ultra unlike anything else. But you don't lose inches and pounds overnight. It's the result of rethinking conventions. Of multiple wireless innovations. And of breakthrough design. With MacBook Air, mobile computing suddenly has a new standard. MacBook Air is nearly as thin as your index finger. Practically every detail that could be streamlined has been. Yet it still has a 13.3-inch widescreen LED display, full-size keyboard, and large multi-touch trackpad. It's incomparably portable without the usual ultraportable screen and keyboard compromises. The incredible thinness of MacBook Air is the result of numerous size- and weight-shaving innovations. From a slimmer hard drive to strategically hidden I/O ports to a lower-profile battery, everything has been considered and reconsidered with thinness in mind. MacBook Air performance is as impressive as its form, thanks to its Intel Core 2 Duo processor. This chip was custom-built to fit within the compact dimensions of MacBook Air.
