Review of Stone Love - Angie Stone by sm00tho taken from ciao.co.uk

Advantages Very soulful music, something to sing along to
Disadvantages n/a

...Thids is Angie Stone's five year debut and the third album in her collection. Stone Love, is full of very soulful music with a little hip-hop, funk and classic soul mixed in perfectly. personally my favourite song from the album is called "I Wanna Thank Ya", featuring snoop doggy dog, the song is a very funky, up-beat hip-hop track that get you in the right vibe. The album also contains other top artists such as Anthony Hamilton and Diamond Stone. i would reconmend this album to any Angie Stone lover and also people who like soulful music or pop music with a soul and r&b vibe. Angie Stone's experiments in all things urban, it never gets repetitive or boring and is a cd to relax and sing along to. here is a list of tracks that feature on the CD 1/ Stoned Love (Intro) 2/ I Wanna Thank Ya-Feat. Snoop Dogg 3/ My Man-Feat. Floetry 4... Read review

Not another compilation album?!
Review of Essential R&B - The Love Collection - Various Artists by jabinasad taken from ciao.co.uk

Advantages Good mix of somewhat newer and older classic songs
Disadvantages Not sure if all songs fall into the 'love' category

...I've often tend to steer well away from compilation albums as I prefer to stick to albums by one artist. However, this album offers songs that go back decades such as the head-bopping Regulate by Warren G and the beautiful, soulful voice of Angie Stone. It's a shame that the likes of Warren, Angie and Fugees are dangerously close to the likes of Eamon and JC Chasez but at least they're both in the first cd! The good thing is that the good songs outweigh the bad songs so it's not a complete waste of money. As soon as I heard California Love, the cd won my heart...but just a little. A good mix and some decent songs to make babies to as long as it's not 'Fuck It ( I Don't Want You Back)'! ;-)... Read review

Will the second album live up to it?
Review of Soul Sessions, The - Joss Stone by bags7 taken from ciao.co.uk

Advantages Easy Listening
Disadvantages Lacks Original Material

...Bought this album blindly after reading a newspaper review of this young girl I had never heard of. Extremely impressed and surprised that a 16yr old English girl was belting out songs like this. She fabulously captures the essence of soul with her unique style and voice. Joss Stone has been lucky in having the opportunity to work with likes of Betty Wright, The Roots, and Angie Stone to name but a few. What an amazing experience for someone producing their debut album. She took great advantage of this nurturing to create an impressive debut album. However, will she live up to this hype with her second album of original material, and without the help of such masterminds? I certainly hope so!... Read review
