During the cooling process, water gets extracted from the air as it passes through the unit. Most of this water works to cool the unit and make it run more efficiently. When the built-in water tank fills up, the compressor stops running, indicating that the tank should be emptied (via the drain outlet). The air conditioner comes equipped with three speeds--two fan plus one turbo, as well as full thermostat control, a backlit LCD control panel, and a remote control for simple operation. Choose between continuous operation or the programmable timer, which can be preset up to 24 hours.
