I've owned this air purifier for 3 months. I'm a heavy smoker and I keep it in the room where my computer is. It's amazing, after running this product for 3 days the smell of smoke and cigarettes diminished by 75%. I don't run it continually, but I'm sure if I did the smell would be completely gone! When reading other reviews before purchasing this unit, I learned that the filter can be vacumed for longer lasting life rather then going out and buying a new one right away. I'm currently using the Hunter 30736 QuietFlo 736 for my bedroom, and I'm extremely satisfied. I didn't buy mine - it was a gift from my mom, but I feel that It's well worth the any price in the price range. It really cleans the air and quickly, too. First thing - this AllerAir 6000 Exec seems to be quite expensive. The price range is quite high. I feel that it's not worth its price.
