I've owned this air purifier for 3 months. I'm a heavy smoker and I keep it in the room where my computer is. It's amazing, after running this product for 3 days the smell of smoke and cigarettes diminished by 75%. I don't run it continually, but I'm sure if I did the smell would be completely gone! When reading other reviews before purchasing this unit, I learned that the filter can be vacumed for longer lasting life rather then going out and buying a new one right away. Different speeds, which I find helpful, since the different seasons bring on different airborne particals. The filters are easily changed.
