I've owned this air purifier for 3 months. I'm a heavy smoker and I keep it in the room where my computer is. It's amazing, after running this product for 3 days the smell of smoke and cigarettes diminished by 75%. I don't run it continually, but I'm sure if I did the smell would be completely gone! ...you the filter needs to be cleaned and when it turns red the filter needs to be replaced. When reading other reviews before purchasing this unit, I learned that the filter can be vacumed for longer lasting life rather then going out and buying a new one right away.
