We purchased this air conditioning unit approximately one month ago. Although we paid close to $300.00 for it, a central air system was going to cost $2000.00 plus. It was purchased at a local department store. We live in a small house of about 1,000 square feet. This unit works efficiently and sufficiently to keep the main room of the house pleasantly cool. I had one of these before I got central heat and air and it worked so well. It kept my house really cool in the summer and my power bill did not even get too high. It was so incredible.
