In my opinion, Sunpentown SF-608R isn't much of an air conditioner - more like a cold/cool fan. It's ideal to put it in places that the regular central air conditioner can't reach/or you want to save electricity because you're the only one in the house and there's no need to have the central AC blasting. I found that the product was okay for the money you pay for it. I was satisfied none the less for the overall performance of the air conditioner. I mean it did help alot with the extra dry heat we get out here in the california desert. So I am happy with my purchase of this product. This is a big window unit for cooling your home. It is 8000 btus. It is pretty easy to install inside your window. But it does leave a small crack to the outside that you must fill. It is a reasonable amount of noise to listen to. It actually took me about a good three to four hours to get the air through more than on room. But it is all worth it.
