Thanks to extremely high sensitivity ratings, these loudspeakers are capable of life-like performance levels with a variety of associated electronic components, even low-wattage tube amplifiers. Hi-RES loudspeakers are 2-6 dB more efficient, which requires 60-200% less amplifier power to reach the same listening level than conventionally designed loudspeakers. This means that Hi-RES speakers play loud and clean with very little power output from your amplifier. Simply stated, the Hi-RES series loudspeakers are the ultimate in sound reproduction, competing with speakers twice their price. When it comes to accurately reproducing vocals and the critical center channel for home theater, the AR2C delivers it. The three-way AR2C incorporates a down firing 6-1/2" subwoofer and is capable of a frequency response down to low 45Hz. The AR2C also features a plasma-transferred, diamond-hardened 1" titanium-dome tweeter.
