The Aego M-System builds on the strengths of the award winning Aego 2, offering a pair of heavy-alloy satellite speakers and a compact subwoofer for a full range sound that embodies AE's sound quality principles. The sleekly styled satellites have smoother treble and a funky rounded design while potent amplifiers are built into the subwoofer to drive all three loudspeakers. The package gives room-filling sound from devices like the iPod, PSP or MP3 mobile phones. With just one cable the M-System turns any personal music device into the heart of a home entertainment system. In the living room, in the bedroom, away at college or simply for a spontaneous party, the M-System delivers a big sound form the smallest devices. Better still, the M-System's gorgeous looks, high quality sound and plug and play simplicity won't cost a fortune as it remains just as affordable as the best selling AE Aego 2.
Advantages Attractive, good power, smooth sounding. Disadvantages None found yet
...These speakers are very attractive, mine are white with black grilles, they are easy to set up and have 5 metres of cable to each satellite speaker, there is cabling for different applications, mine is for connection to my computer.
Having got everything connected and in position, power up and listen to some favourite tracks to see if any tweaking is needed, if you have Vista Home Premium it should have Realtek Audio Manager, this has 24 environment modes and 13 Equaliser modes, add this to the 3 bass positions on the Aego and you have a possible 936 permutations, I have settled for living room/powerful/bass 2 but I suggest experimenting to get the best sound for your specific environment. They have 90 watts rms output and can be used at low volume without loss of low or high frequencies, there are other cheaper systems but this one has...

Advantages awesome audio playback, stylish looks, easy to install Disadvantages above average price
...As anyone who has read the opinion I wrote on my new monitors at work with know, although I was delighted with the quality of the visual display, the only real flaw I could find was that there were no speakers incorporated in the monitor, making the picture quality out of this world, whilst the sound being produced by my aging speakers acted as something of a wake up call. Not a pleasant experience at all and not an experience befitting of the quality of the monitor. To rectify this situation and after much negotiation with my employer each workstation was provided with AcousticEnergyAEGOM speaker systems at a cost of 140 Euros (approximately £95). The M range being for monitors, rather than the H range which are additional speaker units for Hi-Fi systems.
The speakers are compatible with all operating systems and installation could...

Advantages Great product, Great sound, Great price Disadvantages subwoofer is quite large, Speaker Cable is quite short.
...I had been considering a speaker upgrade for a long time and have done a lot of research, as far as I could find on the net these seemed to be rated as the best 2.1 speakers for the price
My other consideration where:
Harman Kardon Soundsticks II
AcousticEnergyAegoM Black 2.1 Speakers
Klipsch ProMedia 2.1
My speakers just arrived today
The first thing which you really notice about these is the size of the sub its MASSIVE and quite heavy. Make sure before you buy these you have room to fit a
28cm Width
38cm Depth
28cm Height Subwoofer
The kit comes with a minijack to phono adapter which is great if you want to use the system with a games console or for other AV sources.
also comes with a conponent audio cable.
The speaker cables are a quite short which is a bit annoying when positioning the speakers.
Speakers are a great build...
