I was given this computer through an agency trying to help me. I appreciate the help with all my heart. However, this was bought not with my money but the states money and if they can be messed over anybody can. It was purchased because it was two hundred dollars less than a Dell. Ive had this computer for about a year. In the first two months the LCD monitor went out. When I called for support I was told that I would have to send the monitor back at my own expense to have it fixed which could take a few weeks or months. First of course I would have to manually take it apart the base that came assembled on it to ship it back. Now if I could afford to ship the monitor back I would have been able to actually buy my own computer. Anyways, then about three months later the DVD burner went out. I again called the technical support and explained everything I had done because I do know quite a bit about computers and they told me I would have to send the whole tower back in to Texas to have the DVD burner serviced. Which of course meant that I would have no computer for however long it took them to fix this newest problem not to mention the amount of money it would take me to ship a very heavy tower safely to Texas. It may have been two hundred less but trust me they get it back from you one way or another.
